Baker’s Ranch Wedding | Mitch & Maria

Mitch and Maria’s perfect, genuine, loving souls had me in tears pretty much throughout the entire day. The way that these two love each other was so evident in the way that they talked about each other, the way they looked at each other and the way that their friends and family spoke of them. When i think of honest, pure, true love, I think back to Mitch and Maria’s beautiful wedding at Baker’s Ranch. Their day was peaceful, beautiful, christ-centered and full of joy. From the details, to the intimate ceremony and the celebration during the reception every part was a reflection of how much they love their families, love each other and love God.

Mitch and Maria had one of the largest bridal parties that we have ever photographed and you would think it would be crazy, chaos, but truthfully, this has to be one of our favorite bridal parties to date. Each and everyone of their bridal party members was solely invested in Mitch and Maria’s day and in how they could come alongside and support them. We laughed, we cried, we were goofy and flat out just had the best time all together.

Our portion of the night ended with two very special moments. The first being the shoe game which is always a hit at weddings, but for a fun twist, Maria’s grandparents were invited to join in on the fun. Her grandparents were also the ones that had been married the longest in the room so it was cool to see the oldest couple and the newest couple joining in together on a game that deals with all things marriage and the perspective of things in the beginning to the things that you learn to grow and adapt with over time. Second really special moment was when Mitch washed Maria’s feet as representation of Jesus washing the disciples feet to symbolize his devotion to humble himself as a leader and to serve his followers. It was probably the part that had me in tears the most. It was so beautiful. Pictures almost don’t do it justice 🙂

All in all, i couldn’t think of a more perfect day than Mitch and Maria’s wedding day! It was a breath of fresh air for us and one that will stick out in my mind for many years to come!
