University of Florida Wedding | Scott and Danielle

Have you ever met a couple that instantly changes you forever and inspires you to be the best version of yourselves and as a couple?

Scott and Danielle did exactly that for us. These two love each other fiercely and passionately. Their love is tangible. It’s real. It’s tender. Scott and Danielle got married at the University of Florida in the Baughman Center. A dreary winter day did not stop these two from continuing their love story, just two days before Christmas. These two were glowing with excitement. Completely opposite vibe then what the outside world was giving. They smiled the entire day. In fact I am pretty sure all of our cheeks hurt by the end of the night. I will never forget the calm that filled the room when we walked into Danielle’s room, at the Hilton UF, seeing her grin ear to ear. Their day was finally here. The day that they had hoped for, prayed for and had been planning for nearly a year.

Every wedding has those little moments that stick out to you. The letter Danielle read that she was giving Scott had every single person in tears. We remember one of the sentences read “you know it’s real when love feels like rest.” Perfect love provides rest. I had never thought of love in that aspect, so not only was it a powerful moment, but it was a moment that changed us.

It defined love just a little bit more and defined what it should feel like. Once the two of them met for the ceremony, they never took their eyes off one another. Their laugh was contagious and their closet friends and family supporting them made for one of the best intimate wedding celebrations to date for us. Due to the fact that it rained their entire wedding day, we chose to do all of their portraits indoors at the chapel and met a month after to do outdoor portraits one early morning at 7 am in the 40 degree winter weather FL experienced.

While we were bundled head to toe, these two showed up dressed in their wedding attire and didn’t flinch one bit when it was time to begin photos. Their passion for each other is evident in every single image. Keeping them both warm in love during the session. The sense of security and devotion can be seen in the way these two look at each other. When Danielle looks at Scott, you can see every ounce of joy in her smile.
