Most wedding days start out a little bit hectic. Everyone is usually running around adding in last minute touches to the decor, making sure everything they need will arrive on time. Making sure people will arrive on time. Answer phone calls and texts. And everyone is working together to make sure the bride and groom stay calm. We sometimes expect to say a quick hello and try to track down the decor, rings, invitations, shoes etc. for the detail photos, and get right to work. But when we arrived at the St.Pete Women’s Club everyone was very relaxed. Cesar and Taylor’s wedding was probably one of the most relaxed weddings we have ever been apart of.
When we first arrived, Taylor was outside by herself putting the finishing touches on the ceremony set up. It was great to see everything was already setup, ready to go and we got to spend time just enjoying their company, taking time to photograph details and truly be a part of their day without rushing around like crazy.
Cesar and Taylor’s wedding was simple and sophisticated. It was a true representation of who they were at the core. Every little detail was a representation of their life together or the things they love. From pictures of their cute pups, their love for adventure and exploring to simple touches of flowers that they loved. Taylor’s dad made the beautiful doors she walked thru as she came down the isle. The tables at the reception were covered in photos of them throughout their lives, from babies to adults. They also had two custom drinks at the bar. “Bart’s Bourbon Sour, and The blushing Bride”
For Cesar and Taylor’s portrait session we walked around the St.Pete Women’s club where we found this gorgeous white gazebo. The perfect spot for their first look moment. And after the ceremony we walked across this incredible bridge. It is a beautiful bridge over looking the water and lushes garden. Speaking of their ceremony, they had their family completely involved. Her dad walked her down the isle and their brothers, including Cesar’s, all took part on portions of the ceremony. They did a great job of being quirky and sentimental at the same time.
