Ocala Wedding Venue at Protea Farms
Alexus and Travis traveled all the way from the cold state of Minnesota to tie the knot in sunny Ocala, Florida. Ocala couldn’t have been a more fitting destination for their wedding. As the horse capital of the sunshine state, it was an easy choice for this couple whose love of horses is a shared passion. How fun to have a horse racing wedding!? They also have family in Lakeland who would be close enough to make the wedding but Ocala was far enough that not everyone from Minnesota would be able to travel. Alexus and Travis really wanted an intimate wedding with only those closest to them in attendance.
Their wedding venue was beautiful! Alexus and Travis got married at Protea Weddings and Events. Their ceremony was held on a horse racetrack and Alexus was brought in on a horse and carriage. It was so romantic and down to earth, very true to this couple’s personality. Alexus is such a humble, joyful and organized soul. She had every detail of her wedding planned just so and it all pulled off without a hitch! Travis was so down to earth, kind, helpful and incredibly in love with Alexus. They are a perfect match!
Their wedding was special for so many reasons. Alexus and Travis included their sweet babies into their wedding. I love that this couple has already been through so much in life together. Their marriage to one another was a long time coming. There is so much love, support, connection and passion in their relationship that is visible to anyone who sees them together.
Alexus and Travis are two people who know what the important things in life are; love, family and friendship. Their wedding at Protea Weddings and Events in Ocala, FL was intimate and focused on quality time with each other and the people they loved the most. That’s what marriage is all about. I know these two will live a full and happy life together. It was such an incredible honor to capture their beautiful wedding day! We wish you both the very best life has to offer!
