Innisbrook Resort Wedding | Jordan and Amanda | Palm Harbor, FL

WOW!

Jordan and Amanda’s Innisbrook Resort Wedding in Palm Harbor, Fl , was one of the most incredible weddings we had the joy of experiencing this year. I hate picking favorites. I really do. But Jordan and Amanda’s wedding was truly fantastic!!

Covid restrictions did not allow us to meet with Jordan and Amanda before their wedding and also pushed their wedding date from November to July. We love to meet our couples before the big day so that we can get to know one another. This also helps us to ease our nerves and theirs for the wedding day. When we walked into the girls suite to meet Amanda, she greeted us with the most joyful laugh and smile. Amanda, Jordan and all of their family including their bridal party, made us feel like we had been friends for many years. Amanda never stopped giggling the entire day, which you can see in most of their photos.

Amanda’s nieces were the biggest part of their wedding day and long awaited guests when they finally showed up to get ready with the girls. I (Rychelle) try my absolute best to blend in on the wedding day, but with Amanda and her girls it had felt like I was one of them. This didn’t feel like the first time meeting them all. Instead it felt like we had done this a hundred times before. Jordan and his groomsmen had grown up together and played baseball. Naturally, the best groomsmen gift Jordan could give to his guys, were these incredible engraved wooden bats. Each bat was custom made for them. When it was time for first looks, I hopped right into the car with her, as we drove to her first look with Jordan. We chatted about special girls only topics like long time friends. That is how comfortable she made me feel.

Moments before Jordan and Amanda’s first look the sky quickly turned dark and the rain poured down. The rain was failing all around, but not one drop fell around the ceremony space and where we did the first look. I know its Florida and its random summer showers are to be expected but what a miracle that was! I mean its like something you read out of a story book.

The original plan was to have the reception at Innisbrook, but due to Covid restrictions they decided to move the reception to Jordan’s parents backyard in Seminole. But this wasn’t an ordinary backyard. It was also the same backyard where Jordan proposed to Amanda. The same house that Jordan had grown up in, so it all s fit perfectly together to help tell a huge part of their story. Their uncle officiated the wedding, and their DJ was also one of their teachers that had taught almost every single one of them in school. Talk about full circle.

Amanda and Jordan’s wedding also included an Ice cream truck and a mobile photo booth. The ice cream truck had a menu perfectly matching the happy couple. The photo booth, made inside a vintage van, entertained the guests all night. The ice cream truck and the photo booth were really fun touches that everyone enjoyed throughout the entire night.

Their perfect day ended with sparklers and a spontaneous choice to jump into the pool. Both Amanda and Jordan and all of their bridal party jumped into the pool which was a freaking blast to be a part of and capture! I mean what wedding party jumps into the pool at the end of the night!?

Seriously the best day hands down!!
