As Florida wedding photographers, we’re always paying attention to how a space feels. Many venues are beautiful , but there are other that truly invite you to slow down and be present. Villa Festa is undoubtedly in the second category! Located in Deland on the east side of Central Florida, this historic estate immediately feels intentional. It’s been restored with care, filled with light, and it’s designed for couples who value connection on their wedding day.
While Kevin and Cosette’s wedding was our first experience photographing at Villa Festa, and it left a lasting impression. Apart from the beautiful architecture and grounds, this venue supports weddings that are deeply personal. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this space was created with heart for every couple and their guests who step foot on the property.
Villa Festa: A Standout Central FL Wedding Venue
Originally built in 1925, Villa Festa’s history is woven into every corner of the property. The estate offers a romantic, almost European feel without being overly formal. Mature oak and camphor trees frame the ceremony lawn, while garden paths and architectural details create natural moments for portraits throughout the day.
Beauty aside, Villa Festa also offers tons of flexibility. Couples can host outdoor ceremonies while still having indoor and covered options for cocktail hour and reception (something that matters when planning a Central Florida wedding!) The covered pavilion is especially thoughtful, offering a beautiful backup plan that doesn’t feel like a compromise.
Another huge draw is the onsite lodging. The Main Villa and Carriage House allow couples and their closest people (like Kevin & Cosette’s largely out of town guest list) to stay together for the weekend. This turns a wedding day into a full experience. With this option, rehearsal dinners, slow mornings, and farewell brunches can all take place on site. It creates a sense of calm that you can feel throughout the celebration.
Thoughtful Details at Villa Festa
Villa Festa also includes many of the things couples usually have to source separately. Tables, ceremony seating, cocktail furniture, and reception chairs are already part of the experience, and the venue team handles setup and breakdown according to the plan. That level of support removes stress and allows couples to stay focused on what actually matters.
What stood out to us most, though, was the people behind the venue. Villa Festa is still new, but the care is unmistakable. The team is responsive, present, and genuinely invested in the couples they serve. There are rules when staying onsite, but they exist to protect a space that’s been lovingly restored—not to restrict creativity. The result is a venue that feels both refined and welcoming, and it was the perfect setting for Kevin & Cosette’s Christ-centered wedding.
An Impactful Central Florida Wedding
Kevin and Cosette are the kind of couple who leave an impact wherever they go. From our very first call, the conversation wasn’t about logistics. It was about faith, purpose, and the way they live their lives in service to others. That spirit carried through every part of their wedding day. During the first look between the two, Kevin was so overcome with joy that he sobbed as soon as he laid eyes on Cosette. He professed how blessed he felt that God would give him a wife like Cosette. After being present for everything that followed, we would agree that these two are blessed indeed.
Their ceremony was unlike anything we’ve experienced. It lasted nearly an hour, centered on worship, prayer, and Cosette sharing a message of faith. Kevin prayed over their guests. People had traveled from all over to be there, and you could feel how deeply loved this couple is. And then there was the first look. Kevin completely broke down when he saw Cosette—overcome with joy, gratitude, and emotion. It was such a beautiful day to experience as well as photograph for this incredible couple.

Villa Festa held Kevin & Cosette’s celebration beautifully. With the ability to host up to 150 guests, the venue felt spacious without losing its intimacy. The estate provided a setting that supported this couple from the rehearsal dinner all the way through heartfelt speeches at the reception. Villa Festa didn’t just serve as a backdrop, their incredibly caring staff went above and beyond to contribute to an unforgettable experience for both the couple and their guests. We can’t recommend it enough for future couples!
