The Edison Wedding Venue | The Edison Barn

As we neared The Edison wedding venue, things were becoming a lot less like the Florida we know. At the last turn before reaching our destination, the asphalt had turned over to dirt. The road was lined with those beautiful country wood fences. The trees seemed to bend over the fencing like they were giving us a warm welcome. The horses and cows were bringing us right into the country.

After a short bit, we arrived at the gate. The classy name plate demanded our attention, so we stopped for a short photo session with two white brick posts. We continued toward the barn and couldn’t help but notice the big white house with a front porch and the perfect cracker barrel type rockers that overlooked the field where the sun says goodnight each evening. We parked outside of The Edison’s fence and began to prepare ourselves for the spectacular evening ahead.

Over the last year, we have watched as The Edison Barn was created. It’s been on our list of places ever since we began seeing pictures. It’s a little bit of moody, little bit of rustic, little bit of boho, little bit of romance, and a little bit of wedding venue heaven.

There is plenty of room and plenty of ways you can spin your big day. If you want an outdoor reception or a warmly lit barn reception, The Edison has it. This Edison wedding venue is a photographer’s delight, being that there are many fun textures to play off of and with the right vendors alongside your photographer, this place comes alive!

As photographers, we have discovered that a beautiful flow comes when a couple has the opportunity to remain at one location for the entirety of their wedding day. There’s endless possibilities when it comes to The Edison and we couldn’t more excited for them.

Casey and David are truly an inspiration as they have taken a flat piece of land and created so much dimension, beauty, and character through The Edison Barn. Their blood, sweat, and tears can be found in every detail.

P.S. We are obsessed with their cows and how the end our this stylized shoot turned out!
