Nick and Holly are such a well matched, resilient couple. Everything they went through together to reach their wedding day is a testament to how beautiful their marriage will be. Nick and Holly originally had big plans to travel to Bali for their wedding. However, COVID had other plans for them. But they didn’t give up and pivoted their original idea to allow for an intimate elopement that would join them together in marriage.

They chose a venue that was a compromise of their personalities. (You can already see how well this couple will do as husband and wife!) They eloped at Brown Mountain Beach Resort in Lenoir, NC which is a small town just outside of Boone. Nick is from the mountains and wanted a place that represented him, while Holly is from Florida and wanted something that was on the water. Brown Mountain Beach Resort was the best of both worlds! It was charming, historic, secluded and beautiful in a natural way. There was no internet service which allowed everyone to focus on Nick and Holly, which is just as it should be! The weather was foggy and rainy which added this sort of raw, natural beauty to their day. The venue even had a speakeasy which was super cool to hang out in. Their elopement was such a dream!

Their day felt so tight-knit and family oriented. We had only ever spoken with Nick and Holly over the phone or on FaceTime but within a few minutes of meeting them in person, they welcomed us with open arms! Their wedding was intimate with only very close family and friends in attendance. No more than forty guests were present and everyone was truly there to celebrate them. Even the vendors felt like family. We all came together as one big unit to create a really special day for Holly and Nick

They were truly such a deserving couple for this beautiful elopement. The love between Nick and Holly was so strong. They had gone through previous marriages, COVID and a lot more to be together. They just were so into each other and it was clear to see why!
