Classy Chic Wedding at The Orlo House in Tampa, Florida

Remember Nick and Taylor’s epic engagement session in North Carolina!? Well, these two tied the knot this past fall and it truly was a day to remember! They were one of our more emotional weddings of the year, but also one of the most fun weddings too. Definitely a highlight moment for us for 2021. Aaron also had the honor to capture their wedding highlight video film, and its one video that we have watched multiple times and have cried each time that we have watched it so have those tissues ready if you decided to hop over and watch it!

Nick and Taylor were married at the stunning Orlo House in Tampa, FL early last October. The vibe of their day so perfectly matched the character, the history and the charm of the Orlo House. Taylor wore the most stunning delicate lace and tulle gown that couldn’t have paired more perfectly with all of the vintage details and theme of their beautiful day.

Though the guys got ready nearby at the Marriot Waterstreet Hotel, the girls had full use of the top level of the house and you better believe we took full advantage of all the fun getting ready details such as photos with the antique mirrors, the clawfoot tub, the vintage vanity set and the cool glass windows of the Orlo. Truly, a photographers dream to photograph for getting ready 🙂

To make their wedding dream a reality they had a power team of vendors. From hair and makeup to florals and place settings, Anna from Taylored Affairs made sure that every single detail was put together and placed for perfection. She went above and beyond with all the gorgeous details and is one of the sweetest people we get to work with! Having a dream team for your wedding can make all the difference for a wedding day!

Words from Taylor…

What did you love about your wedding venue?

I loved the location of the Orlo being close to downtown Tampa, since there are so many things to do. What I loved even more was the historic building that is the Orlo. The house and attached ballroom have so much charm, making decorating very easy!

What memory from your wedding do you remember the most strongly? Or what part of the day had the most effect on you or your relationship?

Walking down the aisle, seeing each other for the first time that day, definitely made us realize how real the moment was and how special our love is. We were able to write our own vows to each other which we will always remember and treasure.

Funniest moment on your wedding day?

-Nick thought we would be doing a first look before the ceremony, but what he didn’t know was that one of his groomsmen and I were orchestrating a surprise. One of his best friends Thomas agreed to put a white dress on and surprise him in the first look. It was definitely a moment full of laughter.

What advice would you give to future couples who are getting married?

-Our advice would be to make the most of your wedding day, as it will be one of the most special days of your life. We also agreed that even though we are now married, we will never stop dating each other. Makes everything fun!
