A Peaceful Summer Morning in The Mountains
When Steven and Brittany from Jacksonville, FL, decided to elope in the stunning North Carolina mountains, they knew exactly where they wanted to go: Craggy Gardens on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Britany fell in love with Asheville and the breathtaking views of Craggy Gardens and knew that was the place for them to tie the knot. So with their one-year-old son and closest friends in tow, the couple was ready for a spontaneous outdoor elopement adventure.
A Hidden Overlook and a Sunrise Vow Exchange
On the morning of their elopement, we met Steven, Brittany, their cutie son, and their best friends at Craggy Gardens at 5 am. We watched the sun rise come up on the mountains and the two of them shared their first look. Seeing their love and excitement for the day was so special! Then we started our hike up the mountain. It was so cute seeing their little guy all bundled up and along for the ride! We made it to a hidden overlook spot where they exchanged their vows in a simple yet heartfelt ceremony.
Magical Craggy Pinnacle Elopement Portraits
After the ceremony, we hiked up to Craggy Pinnacle where there are 360-degree mountain views. One of the great benefits to Craggy Pinnacle is that it is only a 1.4-mile hike! Once we made it to the top, we all just stood in awe over how stunning it was. And to make the morning even more special, we were the only ones there so it felts like we had the mountains to ourselves!
