Congratulations to the newlyweds, Clint and Joanna! This laid-back couple opted for an intimate elopement at Twickenham House in the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. Twickenham House & Hall is a private estate and destination wedding venue located in Jefferson, North Carolina.

This wedding venue is an old English style manor that exudes historic charm and elegance. The brick manor is tucked away on 400-acre grounds that are surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains. You’ll feel like you’ve been swept back in time and escaped the hustle and bustle of modern-day life!

An Intimate Wedding

What we loved the most about Clint and Joanna’s wedding day was how intimate and special it felt. They invited only their closest friends and family to celebrate their union. Every person who truly meant something to this couple was present. No more, no less. Intimate weddings feel so personal and keep the focus on the marriage between the couple.

Clint and Joanna’s wedding day was slow paced and allowed them to savor every moment. Nothing felt rushed or hurried. This eliminates so much stress off of the bride and groom and allows them to enjoy every part of their wedding day.

They also opted out of a lot of reception traditions. They didn’t do a first dance. Their wedding reception was relaxed but the venue still made it feel special. Guests were able to mingle and celebrate the couple without interruption.

Joanna and Clint are such a fun couple! This location was a perfect fit for them. They’re adventurous, outgoing, funny and soak in life with so much joy together. They were willing to climb and scale the mountains to have photos of their wedding day that felt like them. As their photographer, we were happy to oblige! We were able to capture some truly breathtaking moments of this very special day for them.
