We love when a venue has multiple ceremony and reception locations to choose from! It allows you to fully customize your day and make it just how you imagined! T 3 wedding ceremony and reception sites: Cliffside Terrace, Ceremony on the Lawn, and the Twickenham Hall. Whether you want to overlook the Blue Ridge Mountains, or say your vows among the woodland forest, there are a variety of gorgeous options.
The most popular ceremony site is the Cliffside Terrace. This ceremony spot holds up to 190 guests and directly faces the mountains with the most beautiful long range-views of the Blue Ridge Mountains! It also serves as my favorite spot to sneak away with the couple for a quiet moment in between the ceremony and reception for some intimate photos!
Timeless Architecture and Decor
As if the mountain views weren’t enough, the estate’s timeless architecture and elegant interior is full of so many beautiful details! The venue is an Old English Manor with every room specially decorated to make your experience there feel so special.
Access to Private Suites
Venues that include private suites for the bride and groom are some of our favorites! It makes it so much easier for you and your wedding party to feel comfortable and enjoy some quiet time together before all of the guests arrive. At Twickenham House, they offer the Versace Room, filled with elegant silk drapes, antiques, and a ton of natural light (a photographer’s dream!). The Billiards Room is another private suite with a wood-burning fireplace and billiards table. It’s such a fun place for the groom and his guys to hang out until the ceremony!
Exclusive Venue Rental
At Twickenham House, you gain exclusive access to the entire estate for your event. Your wedding package will also include a three-night stay (Thursday – Sunday) in the Old English Manor! This also means that there is no time limit for your reception! So no worrying about ending the party at 10pm because you and your guests can dance the night away for as long as you wish!
Twickenham Housing & On-Site Accommodations for You and Your Guests
Twickenham House offers on-site accommodations for you and your guests, making it convenient for everyone to enjoy the festivities without worrying about travel. Between the Old English Manor and their guest house, Twinkie, the estate can accommodate up to 50 guests. Additionally, just down the road is Phoenix Mountain Lodge can be rented as well and includes 5 bedrooms.
