As the wedding photographers capturing Riley and Ainsley’s insanely beautiful mountain wedding in North Carolina, we had the privilege of documenting a special day that perfectly encapsulated the couple’s love for the outdoors and their desire to create a unique celebration surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the North Carolina mountains. Ahh it was just such a beautiful day and we can’t wait to share it with you!
A Secluded Romantic Getaway in NC
Nestled in the heart of North Carolina, Brown Mountain Beach Resort provided the perfect backdrop for Riley and Ainsley’s wedding festivities. It’s surrounded by lush mountains and perched along the river, offering couples a secluded paradise for their celebration. It’s truly a magical place! Riley and Ainsley chose Brown Mountain Beach Resort because of their love for the outdoors, allowing them to bring together friends and family for a weekend getaway without the distractions of Wi-Fi. We love that SO much!
Riley and Ainsley especially loved all of the activities the venue offered. From floating down the river to adventurous hikes and explorations on four-wheelers, the couple and their guests reveled in all the fun this location had to offer. The unique experience extended to their accommodations too! Yurts on the river, providing a genuine off-grid atmosphere.
Florals Infused with Personal Touch
Ainsley is a landscape artist along with her parents so the floral arrangements were a priority and they totally nailed them! They worked with a local grower who transformed her own wildflowers into gorgeous bouquets. The aisle, adorned with lush greenery and bursts of color, mirrored Ainsley walking through a vibrant meadow, creating such a cool atmosphere! Everything resonated with the couple and the essence of North Carolina so well!
North Carolina Mountain Wedding Details
Riley and Ainsley included their beloved dog Daisy into the festivities. They also brought their Sprinter van which is undergoing a transformation for a 6-month cross-country adventure they are taking next year!
Brown Mountain Beach Resort Photos at Reception
The reception was a full blown party and such a cool experience! They had a live band that made the whole the celebration feel like a concert. The combination of the North Carolina mountains in the background along with the band took the vibes at this wedding to a whole new level and was definitely one of those “had to be there” moments! To honor Ainsley’s New Orleans roots, the night concluded with a lively second line, infusing the event with the spirited atmosphere of the iconic Southern tradition.
